Maya Bay

Maya corner is the dive that takes you out or into Maya Bay by the north, and consists of sloping hard coral reef between 12 and 18 meters deep with rocky outcrops and pinnacles deeper to 22m, all covered in soft corals and sea fans. There are two beautiful swim throughs very near to the corner that are normally crowded with many  different species of fish. Maya corner is home to a number of Hawksbill turtles which can be seen on most dives. Also a number of rare species can be found here including Harlequin Shrimps, Robust Ghost pipefish and look out into the blue for pelagic fish and even Eagle Rays.

    Maya Bay  is suitable for all levels of divers from beginner to pro.

    Mild to strong. We use the tide tables in our dive planning.

  • VISIBILITY

    Although visibility varies and can sometimes drop below this average, the normal visibility around this site is  5 to 20m

  • DEPTH

    See the map for a more specific description of the site, however the max depth 22m

  • GREAT PLACE TO SEE AND TO PHOTOGRAPH ..

    These sites are excellent for  Macro Photographers. they are a great place to see Nudibranchs, frogfish, turtles
