Losamah Bay

Losamah Bay is located on the southern tip of Phi Phi Ley and offers two separate dive areas. The small island in the middle of the bay and the south west wall when you exit the bay known as whale shark wall. The small island is generally a wall dive although shallow in the north and more suited to snorkelling. Heading south towards the outside of the island you find a canyon just wide enough for two divers, that cuts through the rock formation to the other side, soft corals and sea fans are everywhere. The southern part of the rock formation drops to 22 meters with small pinnacles extending the depth to 26 meters. This is a great place to see shoals of Barracuda and other pelagic fish passing by in the deep waters south of the bay. Whale shark wall is only suitable for experienced divers and offers wall diving as good as any found on Phi Phi.
