At Phoenix Divers Koh Lanta we take pride in providing the very best service to our guests at all times, so you can relax and enjoy a great diving experience. We ask that you take the time to read the information below to avoid any confusion and be sure you know our company policies.

How to pay & online booking

Advance online bookings will only be confirmed on receipt of a deposit or full payment via online payment or bank transfer. Payments must be received 15 days or more before you dive or start a PADI course. The remaining balance is payable on arrival.

We have credit card facilities within the dive shop.

Cash payments can be made in Thai Baht, Euro, British Pound and US Dollars, and there are banks and many ATM machines next to our dive center in Saladan town.

When booking PADI courses you will need to answer a medical questionnaire

Before you start a PADI diving course with us, we will ask you to complete a medical questionnaire. This is for your own safety and to avoid potential injuries. Before booking a PADI course online, please ensure you read the Padi medical statement, if you need to write yes to any of the questions you will need to see your doctor to ensure you are fit to dive. Please print out the PADI medical form and ask your doctor to complete and sign page 2, as we will need to see a doctors written approval before we can start the course.

Children

All persons on our boat under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times. There is no age restrictions when booking the boat for a private trip.

Boats

We operate dive and snorkeling tours using our own fast boat, however due to unforeseen weather conditions we may need to switch boats  going to the same or similar destination at no extra cost to you.

Weather

If the weather conditions are not suitable for diving or if anything prevents us from taking you diving on a particular day, or completing a Padi course, we would offer an alternative date as soon as possible. If this not suitable, we will refund that part of any dive package or Padi course which could not be completed. Students on Padi courses are provided with a Referral Form stating which parts of the course has been completed, and this can be used at any Padi dive center in the world within 12 months.

Seasons

Phoenix Divers is open all year with our high season from November to May, we continue to operate dive tours and offer PADI courses during the low season when conditions allow, however it is not always possible to go diving due to the weather and sea conditions. Please note the Koh Mu National Marine Park may be closed during the low season.

Cancellation

1. Private trip boat charter. Full payment is required at the time of booking. A 50% refund will be paid if you cancel giving 15 days or more notice.
2. For online bookings for diving and PADI courses, we will refund your deposit in full if you cancel giving 7 days or more notice.
3. Failure check in with us at our shop in Saladan town, or contact us later than 6pm the day before you start a dive or a PADI course will be treated as a last minute cancellation with no refund.
4. Failure to show up in the morning at the allotted pick up point, or if you decide not to go in the morning for any reason will be treated as a last minute cancellation with no refund.

Fit to dive

If we decide you are unfit to dive due to excess alcohol the previous night, or consider you are under the influence of drugs, we will refuse to allow you to go diving, or take part in a PADI course on that particular day. In this case the customer is responsible and this will be treated as a last minute cancellation with no refund.

Marine Park Fees

At present the marine park fee for entry to Phi Phi, Koh Haa, Hin Daeng, Hin Muang and Koh Rok is 600 baht/ day for adults and 400 baht/ day for children under the age of 14. This entry fee is paid direct by us daily to the park rangers, and will be added to your bill. Please note we have no control over the marine park fees, and the fees can change without notice.

Insurance

We strongly recommend you have comprehensive travel insurance that covers you for diving, injuries and medical evacuations. Any re-compression treatments in Phuket Hospital may require proof of insurance or credit cards before beginning treatments. Phoenix Divers do not take responsibility for the payment of customers medical expenses.

Agreement

By making an online booking and paying a deposit to us to confirm the booking, you agree to the acceptance of all of Phoenix Divers company policies above.
